Roy Peckham started his soft furnishings apprenticeship in England in 1974
where he served 4 years at Norman Fleming's (A well-known and respected soft
furnishings dealer). There he apprenticed in Upholstery, Custom Window
Blinds, Carpeting, French Polishing, and Refinishing. In 1980 Roy moved to Canada
and started his own registered business (Peckham Re-Upholstery). Operated out of
his house, he built his first shop in 1989 in LaSalle, Manitoba and since then
has expanded. Roy has completed jobs for residents and companies all over Canada
and the United States and is a member of the National Upholsterers Association
Inc.
